About Mata Ciliar

The Mata Ciliar Association is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that has founded the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in the city of Jundiai (Sao Paulo- Brazil), in order to rescue and offer medical care and treatment to the local fauna, making their return to the wild possible.
These animals are usually victims of traffic accidents, wildfires, poaching and electrocutation, among many other reasons.
Unfortunately many of the rescued animals can't be released back to their natural environment, because of physical/mental debilitation or due to the long period of time living in captivity and specially because of the decrease in natural habitats caused by rapid urbanization.

Donations

The Mata Ciliar Association rely mostly on donations for their operations. With a small but very passionate staff, they need all the help possible from the public to rescue all the animals that arrive at the Rehabilitation Center and also give the proper care for those that have to stay in captivity.

Sobre a Mata Ciliar

A Organização Mata Ciliar é uma ONG situada em Jundiaí, que fundou o CRAS (Centro de Reabilitação de Animais Silvestres) para resgatar e tratar de animais da fauna local, tornando seu retorno à vida selvagem possivel.
Esses animais são geralmente vitimas de acidentes de carro, queimadas, caça e diversos outros motivos.
Infelizmente, muitos desses animais não podem retornar ao seu habitat devido à danos fisicos e mentais, ou o longo periodo em cativeiro e principalmente por causa da diminuição de habitats naturais causada pela rápida urbanização.

Doações

A Organização Mata Ciliar depende de doações e parcerias para se manter funcionando. Com uma equipe pequena, mas muito motivada, eles precisam do apoio do público para ajudar no resgate de tantos animais que chegam diariamente ao Centro de Reabilitação e também oferecer boas condições de vida aos animais que precisam continuar em cativeiro.
